Last time I looked, no distortion numbers are posted in relation to power output claimed.

[double check their site again, I'm lazy]

Random thoughts;

* eD says it's made by Keiga

* Keiga has a 1kw plate amp that looks like eD's.

* Keiga says their amp is 1kw at low distortion, 1.2kw at 10% [iIRC] distortion,

and eD says their amp does 1.3kw, but at what distortion number? lol

* I believe Keiga uses 'ICE' modules which is *nice*, akin to class D.

* You can look at Keiga amp specs at Madisound.com

* Just like any other amplifier that is not PFC, derate the amplifier by factoring in real world

losses, ie, the Keiga amp will probably only do 600w-800w under heavy stress testing and AC line

losses factored in. What will the eD amp do? You can make an eD-ucated guess -- lol

hell ive got a buttkicker i'm about to get rid of for 225....ive used it twice...then my system changed and that thing became too powerful for my plans. 1900@2 ohms. if you're interested feel free to pm me.

keiga is > behringer for sure, just cuz ed sales doesnt mean its bad. they aslo carry crown amps aswell.
