and yes, you can increase mpg by adding hydrogen to the mixture of fuel and air but you have to trick the O2 sensors into leaning out the mixture so hydrogen makes up the difference.
explain what the first law of thermodynamics has to do with this.
Your alt puts a load on your engine in order to generate electricity.. and any energy you use to generate hydrogen comes from the fuel you burn in your engine..

The idea that you can increase MPG by taking energy from your engine to generate hydrogen which you then burn in your engine is a complete farce...

if it was a waste of time, i doubt it would be such a craze in japan.

there are a lot of people that have already added hydro-boosters to their cars and having good results.

 
and for some reason its usualy the smaller engines that do better :/

most prius' get 45 mpg and with hho ive seen a few get 65 mpg

then look at the results for a jeep with a large v8 and it goes from 17 to 22 :/

there is aot of tuning involved most of it is just tricking your cars computer into using less fuel
