ELECTRICIANS!! House dryer receptical. X/Y which is red which is black?

wat? what about when you need 277? the 220 is the 2 110s at each other the neutral is on the dryer for control voltage. the heater on that dryer never sees a neutral.

is that plug just one that had the wire cut then crimped or soldered? if it is that will come apart eventually go get a real one that will hold the wire tight and keep the connections safe inside of it
How are you going to get 277 out of that outlet?

it was said neutral always pull 110 that is bullshit it is just a ground, a safer controlled ground. neutral can be used for 277 and many other voltages depending what you are doing.
