Next: This bolded area is absolutely wrong. The investors are not taxed again on this income. Each investment has its own basis. If sold for more than the investor paid, they pay a capital gain tax on the amount they sold for in excess of original basis. So I am not sure why you are accusing people of not knowing what they are talking about. Maybe you have been reading too much into a conservative blog? Either way, it is not stealing. I don't see taxes coming out of my paycheck and immediately think "oh noes, the thiefs got me."

You are missing his point. When you received this money in your pay check, you could have done a variety of things. One of the things you can do is buy a fractional ownership in a company. If this company is profitbable and pays a dividend, then indeed you are taxed twice on the original income. If you were to instead buy some car audio, then you are only taxed once.

I am not going to say it's stealing, but you are taxed twice on that original income. If you reinvest your dividends, you may be taxed many many times on the original income.

**** is how it is man... I dont like it either. I have so much against the republicans for the **** they have done to state and govenment workers that I have to cast my vote to defeat them. In essesence I am voting against someone, but I also agree with most of what Obama has done.
