Maybe it will come back? Even though the final design would change a little if it really does become released again I'd be happy if it came out. The transition just has to become smoother on the back of the roof

cafe restrictions will kill any potential customers in the demographic they would be aiming for. that, and the SSR wasnt exactly a smashing success either...

They could have brought it back a long time ago. Won't happen. It has been considered, but I really really doubt it will happen..

They already had one. The SSR is nothing more than a renamed el camino with a retractable top. And the one in the picture is just the Holden that was posted up with fresher sheetmetal based on the look of the new pontiac G8.

I actually really liked the ssr. Kind of like an el camino styled after the 53 trucks. I'd still buy one if the right deal came around.

The style of that holden just doesn't do it for me. Works for the G8, but you can't cut the back off.
