Egeigh ipods?

I need a cheap mp3 player for work, something that will hold quite a bit of songs. Found this on ebay, and its pretty cheap. Anyone have experience with these knockoffs?

They work...

Might not have as loud volume or as good battery life as a ipod but for $40 it will get you by..

Think it could get about 8 hours battery life? I am not sure what the real ipod gets. I might end up buying another Creative Zen

The knockoffs tend to have quite a bit less memory than what they say. There was a review on them and I beleive it was a 4g which only had a true 512md memory capacity. Just something I though you might want to know.

well if you know what woot is you know that by now the deal is gone (they only last 24 hours or until its sold out), but buy.com has it for $99, or $89 with NGC

With the release of zune 2.0 imminent, the price of the zune 1.0 has been getting cheaper and cheaper, but Microsoft has already said publicly that with the release of zune 2.0 comes updates to make the old zune have almost all the features as the new ones (with like the exception of HD video out), so i would worry about buying a 1.0 instead of a 2.0.
