Efficient 15"

Is that a sub more efficient than a Memphis M3 at the power and price range? I know Memphis makes good speakers. I've heard two M3 15"s on a JL 1000 and it made my chest hurt. And the lows in Put On were unbelievable.

Seriously? I first heard about IDQ like 4-5 years ago but never payed them any mind. The price aint bad either. The M3's shocked me, but them are better?

i heard a single 15" m3 on a jl 500 and it made my chest hurt lol

I've been reading up and I'm almost sold. Where the best place to buy their stuff? And I saw one price of 1g for the Q1200.1 and another of $600. I almost choked when I saw that first price.

what amp you have, what box? etc... the m3s are pretty efficent but there over built so they are capible of taking a good deal more than there rated power.. the PR would be a bit louder with the power you have but not enought to change... let me know what type of install you have and you cna make a better decision...

How much power do you have, and are you willing to go ported. That is all I need to know.

sundown RD audio cadence all have solid 1000Ds that would run a pair of M3s, i would usggest ported box for added output, the IDQ 15 sound great but they don't have the output the M3s have...

Be careful about putting too much faith in efficiency for subwoofers.

I'm going to be using an oldschool JL 15w6. They don't require much air space and certainly don't need much power and still can get pretty darn loud. IIRC enclosure specs are either 1.25 or 1.5 cubes sealed (I'm pretty sure its 1.5 though) and they don't need much power, I'd say 400 - 600w is plenty. If I wasn't so concerned about space I would have bought another, or if I even had the height, I would have gone with the 18w6.
