efficiency vs sd + xmax

i been looking over alot of mini subs/midbasses to try to fit in my door, and im kinda confused on which i should lean towards, power really isnt a problem, but the choices im considering, the big differences are between their efficiency and sd+xmax... but moving mass also plays a difference in how loud a speaker is if im correct right?

im leaning towards the speakers with a better xmax+sd rating rather than efficiency because i figure once they each reach their limits, those will be louder overall... but am i missing something? because im also afriad of reaching the speakers thermal limits, before the speaker thats less efficient catches up..

Efficiency is determined mathematically from the T/S parameters. It is usually inversely proportional to lower frequency output. For what you want, cone area is important; you need to move air.

i hear ya on that but im trying to fit these in my doors, so 6.5s are kinda my only options (i even considered a 6 x9) cause their gonna strictly 200-300ish down..

so like i said sd on these is very similar on most (cept the 6.5) but xmax and effiency vary
