Efficiency of a Soundstream 6500d?

Does anyone know what the efficiencies are at various loads? Real world would be great. Thanks

Also does SS make a mids and highs amp that has a matching heatsink?

HArd to get efficienies for an amp that doesn't do its rating in real world voltages! I had one of them and it was a POS power hungry amp that had very little output..

My understanding is they seem to like 14+volts, and really like 16 volts.

When you say very little output, what exactly do you mean? what was your configuration?

takes some power to make some power, Ive had good luck with mine

keep in mind its only rated at 4000 watts at 13.5 v and can draw over 450 amps, all from the manual.

closest matching amps are picasso's and they are black

like 18inchjeepin said, i had no problems with mine. I had 3 optima bluetops on them with no problems. ran them @1ohm, and .5 no problem. also @ 1ohm did a direct swap out of a sundown 3000d, and the SS 6500d had a signigicant gain on the tl over the sundown.
