yea i didn't mention Billups, because although he may test the water, im sure Detroit retains him...Randolph? you can have him, i wouldn't want that kid on my team if they payed me 5 million for him...he's horrible...sure he will score his 20+ a night and grab is 8+boards, but hes a cancer, no one likes him, its been publicized many times, hes dangerous, many off court things going on. hes not a team player, hes a drug user, or at least has a history of drug use and was arrested with dope on him...

Sheed would be nice as long as he turned it up before the playoffs and then through the playoffs...

same exact things were said about rasheed when he left portland. rasheed has no respect for flip and since detroit made the move to keep flip, rasheed should be out.

billups has said he would stay in detroit if detroit matched any offer. if orlando pays enough, they can get billups.

apparently the knicks want rasheed. issaih had tried to get rasheed a couple times. the knicks really don't have anybody good that's the problem.

Stan Van Gundy met with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night but has decided to sign with the Orlando Magic instead according to ESPN's Jim Gray.

Van Gundy flew to Sacramento Wednesday to look around the area and chat with the team about their vacant head coaching position. Stan admitted he was there to sign with Sacramento but this is now not the case.

Van Gundy would replace Billy Donovan in Orlando, who quit after a few days on the job.

It is unclear what if any compensation the Magic will have to pay the Miami Heat to let Van Gundy out of his contract as a consultant with the team."

looks like that jerk Riley wants a million bucks and 2 2nd round draft picks...nothing like kicking a team when their down, because we're a state rival...he wasnt going to ask for any compensation from the kings...

i don't blame riley for asking for compensation. is he suppose to just let his front office personal just waltz to another team in the division?

Stan Van is going to Sac town....sorry to break the news...i would have loved to have had him over any of the candidates less Carliles...so now it's down to Porter, Shaw, Jeff Van Gundy, PJ Calisemo and maybe Dave Cowens...
make it known, i didnt want Billy in Orlando from jump street, it's not the fact that he wont be coaching the team, its the fact that we made a deal and let Marc Iavaroni and Stan Van Gundy go to other teams based on this signing...
