i didn't notice anything posted about this, and aside from my new property tax rates this is the topic which has my blood boiling the most...

im a graduate from UF, I love(d) Billy Donovan, he did wonders for my school. I have a strong allegiance to UF, just like any graduate from any school in most cases. but this guy just fell off my list of likes and landed plum smack on the bottom of my used toilet paper list...

he really screwed the Magic over this week, now they are scrambling to hire a quality coach after letting 2 prospects go to sign Billy, and the list of available coaches that they like or want is getting slim by the day.

and then he lawyers up because he doesn't like the idea of not being able to coach in the NBA for 5 years as a stipulation of the contract termination, tough crap homie, you did this to yourself...this wasn't a rental agreement with rent-a-center, it was a multi-million dollar NBA contract...

so now you have thousands of Magic fans pissed at you, 100's of thousands of Gator fans/alum and so on who don't like that you wanted to leave in the first place and now cant trust you for what you did. plus there are a boat load of gator fans turned Magic fans who bought season tickets because of you and they are all raising a stink over this.

not only that but your a joke on ESPN and you made the Magic organization look like an even bigger laughing stock...

that's how i feel about that, and that goes for any team of any sport, had it happened to them, i'd still feel the same way...

for one thing, you aren't loosing candidates cause only jim o'brien signed with indiana. you also offered a contract to stan van gundy who is a better coach then donovan anyways, so idk what your *****ing about.

Stan Van is going to Sac town....sorry to break the news...i would have loved to have had him over any of the candidates less Carliles...so now it's down to Porter, Shaw, Jeff Van Gundy, PJ Calisemo and maybe Dave Cowens...

make it known, i didnt want Billy in Orlando from jump street, it's not the fact that he wont be coaching the team, its the fact that we made a deal and let Marc Iavaroni and Stan Van Gundy go to other teams based on this signing...

I hope the Magic hold him financially responsible for any returns of the few hundred season tickets sold the day he signed the contract.

well there was this thing going around today about how they are going to refund tickets sold for that 48 hour span if folks are interested...thing is, even if we tried to hold him responsible, the UF boosters will pay the bill just to have him back, which is how his penalty is being payed...so ultimately, Billy get nothing but an NBA ban of 5 years...

he actually has flown back out to Sac today to accept their position according to ESPN sources, so im sure we'll hear an official announcement later this evening or early tomorrow...

much rather want the orlando job

apparently he's not interested and there were rumblings that he may have been offered the Pistons job if they lost the series, well they did and apparently Flip is coming back so i dont know...i'dlike him, but only if he was truly committed...

thats what i figured, but there were rumors last week...but at any rate i dont believe he nor the Magic were interested in one another for whatever reason...

and yea i mentioned Carlisle, i'd actually love him, i wanted either he or SVG in the first place...also SVG has stated that if Jeff doesn't receive any calls he would most likely bring him in as an assistant, which would be awesome, 2 for the price of one type of deal...

idk about indiana, but carlisle wore out his welcome in detroit and bill davidson couldn't stand him. i think that and larry brown being available led him out of detroit. the only problem with carlisle is his offense is bland and he pretty much walks the ball up the court. with a young team like orlando, you won't a fast paced offense. carlisle however will coach good defense, and could make howard into a ben wallace with better offensive skills

much rather have billups then bibby. would like to see jermaine o'neal in detroit but indiana will never trade him to detroit. rumor is zach randolph is heading to detroit. his defense is worrysome but his low post game and rebounding is a plus. rasheed has to go if flip is staying around. perhaps he goes to orlando. give an outside shooter and good defender to team up with howard. also rasheed is fundamentaly sound posting up. he could teach howard to play with his back to the basket, plus he only has 2 years left so you aren't bringing in a terrible contract.

yea i didn't mention Billups, because although he may test the water, im sure Detroit retains him...Randolph? you can have him, i wouldn't want that kid on my team if they payed me 5 million for him...he's horrible...sure he will score his 20+ a night and grab is 8+boards, but hes a cancer, no one likes him, its been publicized many times, hes dangerous, many off court things going on. hes not a team player, hes a drug user, or at least has a history of drug use and was arrested with dope on him...

enjoy that pickup who ever nets him...

Sheed would be nice as long as he turned it up before the playoffs and then through the playoffs...
