Eeek, odd flexing...

The right side of my box, the far right panel flexes about an inch or more (port opening). How can I fix this? Should I tear the carpet off my side of my box, get another piece of MDF wood, and glue and screw it to that flexing piece for extra support? It looks as if the wood will break it's flexing so much, lol.

i but a dowel in my port, worked for me, my port was also flexing

you mean block the airway and put it into the port piece??

use a threaded rod and support it to the far side of the box

run a piece of threaded rod from the inner port wall to the other side of the box. i wouldn't put any type of bracing in the port though.
