Edward Norton: Causes an end to "goodie bags" at the Oscars...

I saw this on TV the other night, that he was pushing to put an end to the bags. I was really impressed that someone would actually stand up to their peers and basically call them selfish, idiots. More power to him. He even wound up getting the IRS involved to the point where they would give out tax forms to those receiving the gifts. Gotta love him, he nearly-single-handedly shut down goodie bags.

i think that they should use the money put into goody bags which most likely comes from advertisers, and write each attending guest a check for a set amount to donate to the charity/foundation that they represent or choose.

ive always liked edward norton since american history x...awesome actor, but this really puts him in a category most actors/actresses are in...the category that actually gives 2 shits about someone but themselves...props to him
