So basically, people don't like eD cuz of the owner, but so far I have seen no negative comments on the speakers themselves. Which is good. I have read that the eD's have better tweeters than the similar CDT HD's though. Is this true?

Now I feel bad about buying a set. The good news is they shipped quickly and should be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully they won't be broken when I get them or have any defects. I am already busy enough right now without adding another problem to my list.

haha...i have orderd plenty of stuff from ED and everything has come perfect....and it always shipss rly fast..

I have heard that ED is rebadged CDT, and the 6500s are basically the HDs, and arnt the HDs like $400? Soo i say the 6500s for 250 is a good deal..

If im wrong, which i might be, about the 6500s basically being the HDs then disregard that comment ....

i think more ppl unknowledgebly join the anti eD fan club....i mean all the people w/ their supposedly and what not who have no negative experience just go on word of mouth and then talk shit all day about it....i know eD f'd up in the past...i'm not supporting their CS.....but don't bash b/c it's the cool thing to do.....honestly

My 6500's just arrived, took just 4 days. On a quick inspection, everything seems to be included and in order. For some reason there is a soft foam disc that looks like it is meant to go behind one of the grills...but there is only 1. Are there meant to be 2 or 0?

So, I currently don't like or hate eD... the only thing I will say is that I won't be buying any more of their stuff. I have already planned the rest of my system with somebody.

2 US Amps, 1 10" Soundsplinter rl-i, and an Odyssey Extreme battery.

Email or call eD. Despite what many believe on here, the CS nowadays is excellent. In fact, the biggest issue right now would be if a product is out of stock, not the quality of the products.

Im sure you already know but that 325is of yours prolly wont fit 6.5" speakers without some cutting...

So I've been told. I guess I'm going to have to fabricate some custome kicks. I would prefer not to have to do any custom fibreglass mounts though.

Don't feel bad. Most of the people in here have never even dealth with the company. I've ordered a shit load of stuff from them and I've only had one problem, which was fixed within an hour.

I know they had asome trouble in the past but that seems to be behind them.

So I've been told. I guess I'm going to have to fabricate some custome kicks. I would prefer not to have to do any custom fibreglass mounts though.

It isn't too hard to cut them to fit the 6.5s, use a Dremel with a cut off wheel.
