****ed up on Paypal

I am selling my Nine.1 to Carchrism5 for $200, however I sent him the wrong **** Paypal address instead of mine, now the good thing is the user who he sent the money too doesn't have PAYPAL YET!!

BUT

Paypal sent that user an email telling him to OPEN an account and get the money..!!!!

Has this ever happened to anyone else? AM I royally fuked?

Same thing happened to me a week or so ago (except I was the buyer.)

There is an option to cancel the payment, if the buyer goes into his account he can click 'details' of that transaction and then 'cancel' from there.

It will lock the funds for a few business days, until the money is cycled back into his bank account and then his PayPal account again.

 
tell him to call his card company and cancel the payment, and you email paypal customer support and let them know what happened just in case something happens you'll be able to show that you tried to resolve the problem. but yeah that sucks man, good luck.

Call PayPal customer service on the phone right now and tell them what happened!!

Maybe I'm just lucky but the last time I had to call PayPal customer service it was less than a 5 min hold time.........

I'd email + call + email again!

i did make the payment today, and i had money in my paypal account so i couldnt call my card company and cancel it, fortunately when i went back into my account i saw the option to "cancel payment" i was so relieved, cancelled immediately and the money is back in my account //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i gave expy my address so he should be sending it tommorow and i will be paying again but this time to the correct address
