Warranty is transferable....and I will try to get original copy of receipt for the Nine.2x so it can also be warrantied....
Elemental Designs warrants this product to be free from defects in original materials and workmanship, under intended use, for a period of sixty (60) months, from the date of original purchase. Using this equipment for any purpose in any environment it was not designed for voids warranty (ripped spiders, burned voice coils, melted/torn joints, ripped surround, cracked cone, and ripped or cut tinsels are clear signs of this), this includes input of power not recommended for usage. Taking the speaker or electronics apart in any way shape or form is will result in a automatic loss of warranty. If warranty work is needed, because of sub par construction or materials, during the warranty period, Elemental Designs under it's determination and discretion, replace or repair the defective merchandise at zero charge (customer will be expected to cover shipping cost back to Elemental Designs.)
Warranty is not subject to the original purchaser only. Our warranty is 100% Transferable. However. A original sales receipt is required to receive any warranty work. Elemental Designs does not cover abuse, improper installation, personal negligence, or shipping damage (for shipping damage please file a claim with the shipping provider, we carefully follow guidelines for shipping. Once it leaves our facility it is out of our hands and is the respective shipping companies responsibility to get it to you as is). Elemental Designs does not warranty any equipment used with our drivers (setting your amps correctly and wiring to a ohm load they can handle is the responsibility of the installer and or owner, not Elemental Designs). Modifying the speaker or amplifier in any way not recommended directly by ED results in automatic loss of warranty. Using any amplifier or speaker in SPL competition automatically voids any warranty expressed or implied.
Sending back a driver to eD with a absence of any of the following can / could / will result in a void warranty.
