Sorry if any of you who were removed ended up getting one.

Database issues this morning got the entire thing moved into one of its own. Unfortunately, there were two separate entries for removals from the list. One, the unsubscribes that people did on their own, which made it in there perfectly fine.

The other, a separate list where we removed them from the list on their behalf. That table wasn't imported so some people will end up with the newsletter but have now been permanently marked, in both tables, to not send again.

Sorry about the hassle guys. If you're not on it, it shouldn't show up again. If you get one later today, sorry, it's flying through the queue right now and stopping it would double up everything since it's already 80% through.

Maybe their order fulfillment process is as good as their spam blast list management process.

Because if it was removed completely, there would be nothing in the system that said never add it back. The separate table was for that. Also, there was a notation on e-mails that were removed by the recipient that wouldn't allow the newsletter to send to them.

Basically, if the e-mail no longer existed in the system, how would the system know not to allow it to be added again in the future? My bad for not realizing that when everything was moved.

If you remove their email, and they wish to get the newsletter again, you can just sign up for it again, no?

Yes, but purchasing an item from us would also add their e-mail back onto the newsletter.

There are some people that don't want a weekly newsletter but will still purchase something like, say, a massively discounted 13Ov.2.

I'd also like to add that Spider Monkey's avatar is f'ing sweet.
