eD Eu-650 vs Koda 8 or Koda 6

I'm looking for some very very strong midbass to add to my front stage and I'm trying to decide between those sets.

EU-650

or

Koda 8s

or

Koda 6s

What exactly are the requirements of the woofer to be selected? How high to you plan to run it, what type of installation will be used, power available etc?

Obvious choice to me, if it fits the intall would be to go for an 8" driver, koda or not. Sometimes 8's just dont fit how we'd like though. The koda's i've heard(6.5's) did indeed have very nice midbass output.

Personally, as much as I like the edi 6500's I dont know if I'd buy a pair of the mids to do dedicated midbass, they hold there own, but they just arent living up to there full potential when used in this application IMO. The new eu700's may be something to really take a look out if they come out soon enough to fit your needs(i've got no clue when they are expected, they to my knowledge arent even on the site yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

Yeah, Ben occasionally posts pictures and sutff like "WOW this thing is just awesome!" of the Eu-700 but never any real definition of dates. The Eu-700 looks verrry interesting.

Are you saying that the EU-650 driver is the same driver that they use in the eDi 6500 Component set ???????? If so that would be news to me....
