I used it for about a year on my HT system,pushed well with just 150 watts in an eD spec'd ported enclosure,shook the house actually but in the usual greedy manor I moved up to a 12" for the house now with double the power (way overkill) and no longer need the 8"---Much to my surprise HT does not need anywhere neer the power of car audio to piss off your wife and or family pets
