That frame looks a lot like the earthquake brand subs. Do they share parts or anything or just happen to look similiar? Sick looking sub nonetheless

Not sure, but doubt it though.

I heard they had a lawsuit against them from JL for design similarities between the W7 but they seem to be doing fine. They had a sale on them awhile back for $149 plus shipping on them which is a damn good deal. Only problem I've seen is the soft parts are a little on the cheap side. A couple vids on youtube show the spiders cracking/ripping under excursion.

China all the way. Underhung coil, VERY sharp dropoff above 50-60 hz, they (used to, unsure if currently) use VERY poor glue. Nothing "beasty" about it.frame is custom tooled, and their version of a jl w7 copy. A quick summary- they aimed for the w7. They equalled a w3.

I almost ordered a few of these, however the spiders are poor quality and tend to rip.

Not really. Big shiny motor doesnt always equal potential. Its not a great design, and once you strip off the junk soft parts and basket, you're left with an "eh" quality motor with questionable design behind it. I sold my a motor for $50 and was glad to be rid of it. I tried 5-10 coils in it and couldnt get more than mediocre results from it.

Very old news, crap softs.. motor is strong, but is limited, If you must run one, 1k-1.2k is the absolute max before failure
