OP - your a noob, your gunna get stupid answers simply because of that. laugh it off, and itll get serious. you just gotta search through the bullshit. most people on here know most of the ins and outs of car audio, and they get cocky depending on their moods, just deal with it, say thank you and move on. youll learn alot.

i agree new users should do research, but on the other hand it is overwhelming when you start out in car audio, so i also know where your comming from.

and once your on a forum for a long time, everyone becomes friends. its like you with your buddies, ya rag on eachother. its all we do. we **** with eachother alot, and new people come in and dont know when were kidding. dont take it personal. just learn to look through the bullshit.

i cant wait for spring break. i am being a lazy ***, thats why im *****ing so much about it. i got 45 pages into the book and was like phuck that, sparknotes time. ill take the grade slip. ruining my future is well worth not having to read this book.

just next time at least try to narrow your question down. you could ask subs, speakers, amps, SQ or SPL, bang for buck, theres so many ways to compare (without even getting into model and enclosure like you said). You dont have to ask for "the best" instead ask if anyone has experience with the two and how they thought they compare (on what ever level you are looking for). search the forum and read as many threads as you can. and no need to bump in the first nine minutes with "wow you guys must not be too talkative today" that will really piss people off but...

ive used both diamond D3 and D6 subs and loved them as daily drivers. going to try a diamond comp set soon.

I have an eclipse deck 8445 and love it, also have eclipse titanium subs. I like the subs because i got them used... for the retail price i woulda went with something else though. seen TI Pros hit in the 160s. no complaints about their amps either.

havnt used much kicker but ive seen decent spl numbers with their subs. heard a comp set of theirs and really disliked it, but it could have been the install.
