I know that these get real loud and move alot of air, but I wanted to know if its a good SQ woofer. I know TC sounds made these woofers and they have quality SQ woofers, but then again they've made the 15AE for ED which was wasn't so much. ( I know they didn't apporve of the design but ben went through with it anyway), but I wanted a lil feedback to help me make a determination of getting on or not.

I had a single 12 in a sealed, probably 1.5 cuft box and threw about 900 watts to it, and it was retarted loud (for small sealed), and very accurate, very deep lows and decent midbass for a sub. I also notice it responds pretty well to fast kickbass notes for rock and such..

You definately wont be dissapointed with one as far as SQ goes, and the output is great!

thanks, now do you think 900 to a 15 would be too loud for a sq set up

their rms is 750 i believe, but they can take much more, a 15 with that power will be plenty loud, yes, and yeah it will sound good doing it. Do it!

that rating is per coil to the op.. i suppose it would matter how much $$ it is...i would probably pay around 200 for a used one

i have mine in about 2.9cu. ported tuned to 32hz, wangs like a mofo

oh thats wassup, im probably going selaed for limited space, and also the fact that I've never done a ported box or know how to for that matter, and seem to only find pre fabed boxs for a decent price range. I'll probably go 2cu.ft sealed with a lb of polyfil

I know a guy that had one 12" ported with 1500/1800Wrms he did a 142db on the TL in the kick
