Eclipse Titanium/Aluminum Subs

I think they are really nice. Sound crystal clean and get pretty loud also.

I think they may be a tad bit overpriced...but you wouldnt be dissapointed with them.

What is your price range? And I take it you are looking for SQ, with a decent amount of SPL also.

funny you ask this because i have 2 15 inch tis(and 4 8700s for sale) i am putting 4 ti 15s in a tahoe but dont have the car yet. i have a millenia now and i could only fit 2 tis in the trunk and i will get the rest when i have my tahoe. any way tell your friend to get them because i love them. i am an spler and i have the 2 tis in a tiny sealed box(which anybody who loves spl would agree sucks) but nonethe less it still slams in the trunk.in the tahoe it will be big and ported. tell your friend to get them along with a lot of power.

THis isnt for me, this is for my friend he has a suburban (big *** truck) and i just wanted to know what pople thought of them to give him some feedback, he wants spl with sq(spl more cuz he wants to have earth shaking bass, and i heard that two titanium 15s with adequet power will do just that. WHat you guys think, will these subs hit reallllllllllllly hard?

No.

Flawed design, flawed woofer, flawed product. You'll get better output from several dozen other drivers for less, and you'll get better initial sound quality from other sources equally cheaper.

Hes actually gettin them for $375 a piece and is thinking of wiring it to a revo amp for $375 and thats cheaper than gettin two brahmas and getting a revo to each.

My friend has 2 Eclipse 12" tis and they fin HIT.....I'll be pulling out of my highschool and I can hear this kid turn his subs on from the other side of the school...ITS CRAZY....The kid wakes me up in the mourning from him driving by my neighborhood with the things Blaring....THESE THINGS HIT HARD AS HELL.....sweet subs if you feed them the power, but obviously for someone with price as not a big factor

Price was a big factor for my friend, he cant get w7s or brahmas cuz amps for the brahmas will end up being more, he just found a good deal on ti subs, they were otherwise outa his league @600 retail i believe. 375 per sub is what hes willing to spend.

What do you mean the amp for the bramhas will be more, an amps an amp, just cuz you get a diff sub doesnt mean the price will go up....

Originally posted by JlAUdioGuY hed have to get two revos or somthing similar to that to power two 15 inch brahmas and to power the eclipses he only needs one revo. THats what i meant sorry
I'm confused as to why?

Get a different amp - given the added cone area the brhama will have over the TI, I'm willing to bet install for install - the Brahma has the edge in output - and you'll only need one amp @ 1600 ish watts.

800 watts per brahma 15" is enough to drive them COMPLETELY to their fullest in about a 2.8 cube sealed enclosure.

good, that means I can push mine with those exact same mechanics. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

the SQ and performance of the Eclipse Ti's and Aluminums are still impressive, I went through tons of woofers and feel in love with the aluminums and found them for a good deal so I got a pair, worth it if you can get them less than retail
