Eclipse Ti SW9122 vs. MTX 9500 (12")

I know the MTX will last a while and so should the eclpise. Imo the eclpise is well overpriced. I heard the 9500's dont really like small sealed boxes
I bet eclipse products are pretty steep, but are you trying to say that mtx stuff isn't? At least where I am at they want, I believe $600+tax for a 9500 12". Could prolly be had for $500+tax. Either way that is pretty **** pricy if ya ask me.

I have the mtx "12 9500 in a sledgehammer box and I used to run it off an mtx 801d which put out around 650watts rms and it still hit very hard! I now run it off a 1501d and it hits harder but its just barely noticeable by ear! But I strongly recommend you having a ported box over sealed, IMHO, the sq benefit of having this sub in a sealed box do not compensate for the loss in bass performance!

I had an eclipse 15 titanium and now my brother is using it. I havent had any experience with the mtx but I was very pleased with the eclipse ti. I woulda kept it if i had room in my car.
