I was checking out he site and the support page said they could send me a top assembly for the tc3000 and I think that should go right on my motor, I remember last time I tried getting a hold of them a year or 2 ago they never replied about wether that would fit right on my motor.

Hopefully it will and they have 1 instock...I miss this sub it used to pound then it slid against the back hatch of my old suv and split the surround. I just bought 2 15" Type R's instead of getting it fixed back then.

A TC3k top assy. might bolt to that motor, depends on which version of the basket they have...

go look at the bottom of your basket where it bolts to the motor, how many bolts are there?

should be 4, 5, or 6

edit: AND WILL YOU SEND SILVERCOOKIE YOUR BLOWN SOFTPARTS?

I dunno It probably cost me $5 gas going to a post office and to ship to the US probably atleast $25 min. Maybe after I get this thing working.

and if it dosnt work out with TC i know of one other place that can recone your motor with you keeping the eclipse basket

*Ti softparts no longer exist (no longer made, no longer in stock)

*TC no longer does recones for anything other than their own brands. TC will not touch an eclipse speaker.

Oh boy another pissing match about tc i wont comment as i know the VERY FIRST ti's used a tc9 (iirc been a long while).. would need a pic with the boot off to say for sure which that is.. but to teh op.. DO NOT TEAR IT DOWN. you can buy new foam! ill look for the link for you! please dont destroy it.. its fixable yet!!!!!

I tried sending an email to TC but haven't got a reply yet and I tried contacting Fi because someone mentioned them no reply yet either. Should I just phone them or will they answer an email.... Last time I emailed either company I got no response.

I really want to get this sub working I just wrecked my Pioneer Premier ts-w3004spl today. If I don't get something worked out soon I'm gonna order a type R or CVX then put this on the backburner for another year.

I actually personally threw out many of the remaining Ti cones because they pissed me off... sorry, blame Eclipse, they never took care of the customer, one way or the other.

Fi might do it, but its not easy for them yo do it because it might require some re-machining of the motor to get the right hole pattern. Fi does not use the same baskets which requires new vc former (height) and new spiders so they have to put a new frame on it to avoid that problem... not very easy...not cheap! Might as well buy a new Fi driver imo.

Robot Underground might do this for you. He is pretty good at making custom stuff work, its worth a shot.
