i am looking for advice on enclosure ideas for an eclipse sw9122 subwoofer to fit in between the stock rear deck speakers in a 96 buick riviera. i am looking for a sealed encosure, possibly made from 1" mdf. anyone with specs on this sub, or box ideas/designs- any help would be much appreciated. i don't have specs on the sub cuz it was a demo and came as is- no box or anything. eclipses website isn't very informative and you cannot contact anyone there. so a little help is needed. Thanks.

here's some specs to model up a box:

RE - 3.1 ohm (each VC)

FS - 27hz

qts - .30

vas - 3.2 ft^2

spl - 89db

qes - .32

qms - 5.0

sd - 490 cm^2

xmax - 38mm

woofer displacement - .19 ft^2

These numbers seem to imply to me a ported box, but if you want sealed WinISB produces numbers in the neighborhood of .75 cu ft.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
