Nah i just think its stupid when peeps thro in the "lol" like there so cool when you coulda simply said i was confused on models or sumn from the get go. But you said the TC 1000 sub looks similiar but with eclipse on it. So then it would appear "similiar" no? does it have aluminum cone? the 8812 does. the baskets appear similiar, the surround does.... so are you saying im wrong there too?? i just want you to tell me im wrong and the subs have no absolute similiarities.

And then ill chalk it up to you and even put a bow down smiliey in after your name on my next post.

so theres no similiarities at all on those to models eh?? There entirely different? Not what the pics show mr know it all... i didnt read it, i saw the pics and judging off that ive had the 8812's and other eclipse models they did appear "similiar".

Lol (and I did laugh out loud). I assume Ciaonzo laughed out loud too because he couldn't have clarified it any better. He doesn't need to help the OP anymore because he already did.

You can't say that because of the fact that they both use 12 spoke baskets (as TONS of other brands use them) and a typical half roll surround make them similar. The only thing that might be considered similar is the fact that they have a full aluminum cone, but thats because the majority of Eclipse subs use them. Like Cianzo said, they use a completely different motor structure. Just because they might look similar visually, doesn't mean they will perform anywhere near the same.
