So I'm in the midst of purchasing my system. I have heard many good things about Eclipse. The SW7124 is what I am looking to get. Could anyone who owns/has experience with these subs, or and Eclipse products for that matter let me know if they are as good as ive been told. Oh, and is $250 CAD a good deal for a 12"?

:)Thanks

Yeah, thats a decent sub, and a decent price... Im in Calgary too, so I know what its like finding a good sub at a good price, lol.

I was amazed to see the Visions on 32nd Ave sell me a 12" Type R for $250 CAN, from thier listed price of $350...

Peace!

Great sub!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif Best I've owned so far. Very accurate and sounds like it's acutally part of your system rather than a big noise box in your trunk. I bought my used in perfect condition for $130 shipped USD. Ask around and see if anyone is willing to part with it or try cartoys.com - they are authorized to ship Eclipse products.

Haha ya the car audio scene isnt as big as we all would like it to be:(

Thanks for all the postive feedback about the eclipse. I am most likely going to buy it. I just have a few questions, such as the mounting depth and recomended enclosure size.I have not been able to find these numbers on their site, and welli need to know if i can make it fit in my truck hehe.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Mounting depth is 6.6" and my manual doesn't show a recommended box but shows different frequency characteristics at different volumes. A sealed 1.0 cuft @ 41 HZ has the overall flattest freq response. You would need the TS parameters in order to plug it into a program to see what would be best for you. The manual also has a mini box building tutorial including volume and measurements of the box size. I have mine in a 1.2 cuft sealed box and it is pretty tight and accurate and still moves some air. Hope this helps:D
