I was considering getting an eclipse Aluminum series, but while i was shopping some different places i found a killer deal on the line below the Aluminum series.

I was wondering if anyone has ever compared the 2 before. i dont know what they call the line, but the sub is the SW6123DVC. i was actually leaning towards an IDQ or Shiva, but this sub is 75$ shipped New on ebay, so i dont think i can go wrong for that...

You get what you pay for. I have the 7124 Alum and it is the best sub *I* have personally owned...it's accurate, but not THAT loud, and the cone moves like it's on speed - which means very fast. Plus it has something like a 1.5" x-max (don't quote me on this) and can handle 450 watts!!

Compare the price vs the specs and you will know why it's only $75!!

Just my .02

makes sense, i was just wondering if anyone has had experience with them.

im sure it wouldnt compare to a Shiva, Alum, or IDQ, im just always looking for a good deal

I had a pair in my truck, now they are sitting in my room. As far as SQ goes, they kick some major arse. I had them in a 1.8 cu.ft. sealed box running off 300 watts a piece (same as my Atlas's) and Id say SQ is just as good as my Atlas's. However, they didnt get to **** loud. Everyonce in awhile I could feel it in my chest.

Just for the hell of it though, I stuck one on 600 watts in a 2 cu.ft. ported box tuned to 32 Hz-That thing wanged pretty good. Impressed the hell outta me. Probably got just a touch less louder than my 2 Atlas's sealed off 600 watts, and sounded pretty good. And for a 250 watt subs with a 1.5 inch VC, it took it like a champ. I ran it like that for a week, about a 1 hr everyday, volume up high, gains in the same place as I had them set for the 2 Atlas's. Never once skipped a beat.

So-with the right box etc, then can get pretty loud, or sound **** good.
