Eclipse Speakers: Integrated, Point Source, or Component?

I just got a new car for cheap, and intend to redo all its audio. I've used Eclipse before, and was really happy with the quality, so I want to stick with them, for everything.

THIS is the headunit I want to get, it has 15 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels.

My car has two 5.25" speakers in the front, with separate tweeters on the dash, and two 6.5" speakers in the back behind the rear passenger's headrests.

For the 5.25", these are my options:

Integrated 30W RMS/50 Peak

Point Source 50W RMS/150 Peak

Component

85W RMS/250 Peak

For the 6.5", these are my options

Integrated 40W RMS/120 Peak

Point Source 60W RMS/180 Peak

Component 100W RMS/300 W Peak

It seems my head unit is rather under-powered. I have heard that under-powering your speakers can be damaging, but I have also heard that is not true. Will any of these do with just that head unit? I would prefer not to get an amplifier, if possible. I have two 10" subs in the trunk, so I am not solely depending on the speakers for bass, if that makes a difference.

I'm sorry to ask so much on my first post, but this is a lot of money I plan on spending (most of my savings) and I really don't know much about car audio. If any of you live in Arizona, I will take you out to lunch for your time. :)

For co-axles, the Point Source are by far my favorite. I'm not a huge fan of their component sets. They sound okay, but are nothing special, and for the money you can do a lot better.

The Point Source though are top notch for a co-axle.

From an install stand point, the components will give you better imaging and staging.

Do yourself a favor though, and get an amp. Any of those speakers will appreciate it.

agreed, amping them would make everything sound better and the Eclipse EA4000 is a very nice 4 ch amp

I would go with Comps in teh front and the point source coaxs in the rear

I thought the Point Source line had a comp set, the local shop by me that is an Eclipse dealer had some

heres some Point Source coaxils from a guy that is closing his shop in Georgia, hes becoming a sales rep now instead of owning a shop, hes a great guy and very dependable and doesnt sell junk, and he knows his stuff, heres the speakers he has on ebay

Thanks for the link! I just might buy those...

In response to thinking that the Point Source line had a component set, the ebay Point Source 6.5" said this:

This speaker set can be used as a Point Source Coax mounted or Component Mounted System. The tweeters come mounted in the middle of the speaker, but you can remove them and mount them anywhere you would like.
All the speakers in the Eclipse point source line say they have a detachable tweeter and "tweeter relocation kit." Is this perhaps what you were thinking of when you said a component point source?

Lastly, if this is indeed what you meant, how much "worse" would the point source 5.25" in the front be (if I take advantage of the detachable tweeter), than the actual component set? I only ask because the component set costs about 3 times as much as the point source.

Ive heard 6.5 Point Source comps and i thought they were a pretty good comp set, although ive never heard the higher line, so i couldnt really tell you if its worth the price or not
