These speakers are flat out amazing. I have the SE8262 which have the same specs as the 8383, only they are 2-way. These are by FAR the best coaxial 6.5" speakers i have ever heard. I have had Kenwood base 2ways, and Pioneer 3way coaxials in my doors, and none even come close.
Smooth and crisp sound, not harsh or overbearing. I have 40x2rms going to them via a Coustic 161se amp, and it sounds amazing. I picked the speakers up BRAND NEW on ebay for $50 shipped. By far the best addition to my audio system.
