Eclipse SC6900 xovers

and here's why.

I've had these comps for only 8 months now and mounted them to 3 different locations each time the inductor coils have come lose/broke at the connection points due to light/moderate vibrations.

So today I'm cruising along and I'm thinking to myself, man my system hasn't been up to par lately, but I've been messing with settings on the HU and xovers and eq and such so I'll set everthing back to default and build it to perfect sound in the back of an empty parking lot. So as I'm tuning it it still sounds like Azz. Check all my speakers...hrm thats funny rear woofers aren't working bingo theres my big problem. Check all the connections...hrm everything is connected just fine (thinking to myself it better not be those f'ing xovers. Well it was the coils came off once again.

Well I've had all I can stand, Challenge Accepted.

So word to the wise, I know I've said this before but the Eclipse SC6900 components are a good budget buy, but if you do buy them keep in mind that unless you're mounting them somewhere very vibration resistant this will be the result, the stock epoxy they use is a thin azz line that breaks with little effort and they just bounce around then till the copper breaks. I solved this issue with some epoxy,electrical tape (if needed sometimes you can leave the orig coating on the coils which is best) solder, and some deadner.
