I have an Eclipse AVN5495 for sale. I'm looking to get $925 OBO. If you are unfamiliar with this unit, it retailed for $2499. It is HDD drive based making for quick and easy navigation. I'm not trying to be mean, because they are very nice looking. But eclipse doesnt have the best reputation with warranty, and quality, i think if you really want to sell it you should lower the price just a smidge. I mean because i could go out and get a nice pioneer or alpine for $1000

If you don't agree with the price, give me an offer. That's the easy solution. I'm not a difficult man to bargain with. As far as quality, I have not heard such reports.

Memphis you must be mal informed because I have never heard such reports about eclipse. They have high quality HU and TVs so everyone else this is a great price for the product.

dude, i used to be an eclipse dealer as far as the subs go, and even some HU's they are great, but the warrany sucks! thats why everyone is dropping eclipse, circuit city was selling the shit out of the stuff and realized they were getting screwed because of all the pissed off customers coming back with problems

anyway I have been an eclipse buyer/user for 4 years and have never had any problems with their subs, speakers, amps, nor HUs. I have freinds who have eclipse products and never complain or have problems. If someone buys this tv and uses it properly I'll back up that they shouldn't have any problems either. I have never dealt with their warranty department, because I have never had anything of theirs break, so I dont have experience in that area.

If you really were an eclipse dealer then you should recognize that for him to sell this unit for less than half the price is a good deal for a quality unit IMO.

The lucky buyer will also get this 8'' subwoofer. This was a driver produced at the Rainbow Vanadium sub build house (as evident from the way it looks) that Alumapro didn't finish putting into production. It is used but looks new. I bought it from someone but never powered it up.

I would have to agree, Memphis you must be mal informed... I mainly run Eclipse and at the moment have AVN6600, 2) XA4000, XA5000, XA2000, EA4000, EA2000... and other I have sold... ALL WORKED GREAT and NEVER ANY PROBLEMS...

As to warranty, I have never dealt with them, but a friend did have a XA5000 that a RCA ground barrel came loose on and sent it in for warranty, they didn't even fix it, they sent a brand hammer new amp in it place, extended his warranty for another year and it was back in his car inside of 10 days...

In my book, thats out standing warranty service....
