Eclipse HU fails to eject CD

Hey guys,

I have an Eclipse 5303R. I bought it about 10 years ago. I only used it about 6 months before selling the car that it was in. I packed it back in its box and haven't seen it again until I found it today. It seems to work great, EXCEPT it won't eject its CD. It will open the motorized face, but won't actually eject the disc. The open button seems to work fine; the unit puts out a beep sound each time it's pressed. And I can adjust the angle of the motorized face fine. Just can't get the disc to eject. It knows there's a disc in there because it (1) won't accept a new disc and (2) does play the cd in there.

Any ideas? Is there an "open face sensor" or something?

Also, I have a 12 disc changer that I bought to go with the 5303R. I have the serial cable that goes between them, but not the power cable. Anyone have a lead on where I can pick up a new one, or have one laying around they don't need?

Nothing huh. I know 10 year old heads aren't necessarily sexy, but if you look back you'll see this one was the then top of the line, burr brown dac, preamp only out, external power supply, and all that jazz. it's a good unit.

Though I have to admit the $600 refurb DRZ9255 is growing on me.
