Ok I am usually on here helping others out, and now it is my turn to ask for help.

Componants MB quartz 6 1/4 with tweets
eclipse 10' titanium subs in a OBCON GZ series enclosure
Concept D-800 for Sub
Apline 5 channel for mids.
My question is this. My system hits hard, but when I get to certain frequancy all my highs cut out. My bass still plays but no highs. The Freq is around the 40 hz range and the valume is not turned up loud. I turn the HU down and the highs come back. The Alpine is not shutting down, and not going into protect mode. I have recheck my ground, power (still getting 14 volts), RCAs, and everything I can think. As long as the song I am playing does not fall into the wron freq I can turn it up as loud as I want and it will not shut down. I know it is not a power draw problem or it would shut down during those songs too. I can have my system turned up only 1/4 and it will stop when that note hits. HELP
