I've been fooling around with my eclipse HU and have measured the sound data in my car, uploaded it to their site and applied some correction to the curve. I download it onto my memory stick, verify that it's there and then load it onto my deck following their directions (select sound data, the file you want and then push and hold prst 1-5 for 5 seconds) After that, if I select that preset, i get no in the EQ whatsoever. I've read about people having problems getting the file loaded from either their computer or onto the deck itself but haven't read about this anywhere.
For clarity, I can set all 5 of my presets to a flat curve, load sound data to any of the presets and they'll stay flat. If i change the curve and save it to a preset, i can always recall that curve.
