Eclipse deck similar to 8445 8455...

i need an eclipse deck similar to these models.. im not sure which ones are but im just sticking with the year 2005-ish i guess,, i definitely need one that has the external amp (the metal box)... it doesnt have to work but i need to know why it doesnt work. thanks

when you say the external box do you really mean the dc/dc converter? Instead of external amp?

idk about those sets per say but he may be referring to dead head sets with the actual little external amp.. its silver and like 2"x4" give or take..

but I could be wrong

yeah idk what it is.. i never really got any good info on it... but ive seen people call it an ac/dc converter... and it isnt a dead head.. so idk... but anyway basically the wires were ripped out along time ago by my ex girl... haha bih... but anyway i think i may be able to solder them.. but im in need of like the mounting cage and top to the unit itself... more importantly i need the whole cd player part itself i need some screws from another unit like this for the face and stuff... when i took it out i tried to get it to work by just twisting the wires together... it powered up and everything but no sound... and i dont remember trying to see if any sound came from the rcas... but i would like to try and get this working so anyone have any eclipse units similar to this one...

i also need the **** wiring harness too... id basically just snatch up any old eclipse from like 2005-2006 cause i believe the cd part is the same from them.. i used the cd part from this one in a cd5435 i think.. cause at the time it wasnt worth trying to fix the 8455... im just worried about those wires.. thats why i was trying to get something similar or maybe just the cord lol...

my friend has that same one but the face plate got detached from the actual unit

does he want to get rid of it? i dont need the face plate... im trying to get something asap to fix the one i have... if so send me pics and a price and if he thinks it works besides the face plate deal
