Eclipse CD8455 and GPS105

I have the 8445 and the 105, and it's a decent combo. The only drawback is that you have to download the directions and upload them with a memory stick instead of being able to just hop in and type and go like with a normal gps system. I used mine to get from Houston to North Carolina, and it seemed to work pretty good.

I used a friends on my 8455 and went right to my Garmen Quest II, the features are ok at best on the eclipse deck...If you want more then how to get there you will need something better.

Try asking yourself what you want the GPS to do then go from there. My search lead me to the Quest II, due to it being motorcycle and multi vehicle friendly...Yours may lead elsewhere. There are a lot of GREAT GPS units around 500-700 and good ones as cheap as 200. I have almost paid for 1/2 mine in saved gas in the 7 months I have had it.
