I currently own the Alpine cda-7897 with the Fantom Face and all the cool looking phone buttons. How can I get these to work with my phone?

Its a newer LG, vx8100 to be exact, im so interested to use this feature i would consider down grading phones to get it working.

Good phone, my second choice to my e815.

Is there nothing in the manual? AFAIK, it's similar to using a handsfree kit. When the phone rings, it attenuates your music, and the call plays through your speakers.

i think it only works with motorola or nokia(can't remember which) I own a 7998. Its in the manual.

You will need both the phone interface and the Nokia phone in order to make it work.

I would just buy the universal Motorola bluetooth kit, and use the interrupt wire. It will work a lot better with your phone, and you'll just be able to use the voice dialing and stuff with the phone in your pocket.
