whats your thought on the Eclipse CD7000?compared to the older model? anyone has it?

can't really tell you but its pretty much the same as the current 8455 except for cosmetics, the cd7000 has a 5v prevolt compared to the 8455 8v and the CD7000 has a 1 band PEQ for the sub now. there probably isn't much of a change quality wise as eclipse is very reliable.

just a note if you aren't using an active setup, maybe i could suggest you the cd5000 for a passive setup because it would almost be pointless to get the cd7000 without going active.

All things being equall, preamp voltage isn't as huge of a deal as people think. If you could listen to 2 identiclal systems in 2 identical vehicles, except one had a CD5000 instad of the CD7000, you would here zero difference between them. Again, with all things being equal.

add on a learning/teaching remote interface,different display OEL rather than VF,detachable face,6 pattern illumination rather than 5,The 7000 also offers 11 band EQ in 3way mode.

*possibilty* of having a DCU105 adding or something similiar.

No its not available yet, most likely the end of the month along with the AVN6600

yeah, where is their accommodations? i was told by pioneer that they would not offer them and to contact the regional office????????

That I cant share. Also my accomodations and yours would most likely differ.

Edit: didnt see you said where for me that goes through Pioneer. Im guessing you work at BB/CC?
