Up for sale is my Eclipse 5425 cd player. Bought it new back it 2006. Used it off and on. I had a flip out at that time also, so I would switch back and forth.
It has 3 pre outs, front, rear, and sub. All 5 Volts. It also has a HPF w/ selectable range for both front and rear I believe. I duno if it would be able to run an active setup or not tho. Not a whole lot of processing on it. Bass, Treble, Midrange.
I have not had any problem with it. Works good. Mechanically its 10/10. The wiring harness does not have a fuse link on it and there is not one built into the deck either.
It works good; however, it has some cosmetic issues.
1) Trim ring is broke in half. It still clips onto the cd player well. The break appears to be clean IMO, meaning that once the trim ring is on the cracks are not to noticable. My dash and mounting kit was black tho, so that may have a part in it.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif It could proly be glued together.
2) The chrome coating on the left side of the deck where the preset buttons are at have worn. The numbers are still visable, its just the chrome coating on it. You might be able to see this in the pics. All the other lettering on buttons are fine.
3) The bottom of the mounting cage has some black marker colored on it. The trim ring kinda bows up toward the deck on the bottom which makes the bottom of the mounting cage slightly visable. The cage is only visable near the center of the deck, not across the whole bottom. It was like that since I got it. The dealer said thats normal
Anyways I took someones advice and colored the bottom of the cage with a sharpie and it kinda turned more light black. I know
So with all that being said, I would give Cosmetics a 8.5/10 or so. Its not all that bad imo. I am selling this because I want to try Bass Racing and need a cd player with a pause button. This deck dont have that! lol Otherwise I would keep this.
