Eclipse Alum Vs. Audiobahn Alum

I had eclipse alum subs... and they are great subs in SQ and SPL... I heard that audiobahn alums where also great in SQ and SPL...

So my question is...

Are the eclipse way much better to pay double the $$$?

Well, I've never heard Audiobahn Alums, but just about every one on this board that has heard them say that they sound like crap. I hear they're pretty good for SPL though, but that's it (Kinda like the MTX RFL). But I've never heard them, so this is just sumarizing what others who have heard them think. Personally, I'd go for the Eclipse subs.

yeah how could you compare the 2 of those. i mean that's like comparing, the wetness you feel on a wet fart(the audiobahn's) versus the wetness you feel when your alone with a women(eclipse's). so take your pic on which one you'd rather have.

good comparison bumpin_blazer sounds about right to me. one youd prolly like the other hell no it shouldnt be good. id fr sure go with the eclipse. you have them right? what you think of them im thinkin about gettin a set of them the (ones with 500 rms) you think they are wort the money?

i hopes someone would like the comparison. geonn were you asking me if i had the eclipses? cause if you were no i dont' i'm an SPL man not SQ.

Okay, I know how you all crack Audiobahns...but you know my take, I had em, and enjoyed em while they lasted...their sq sucks, they will kill Eclipse in the SPL category...

well duh rangerman. nah i'm just kiddin but yeah anyone who might think the eclipse would hit harder is a fool audiobahn all SPL no SQ.

Just clearing things up a bit...everyone is making Audiobahn look like the *** of the car audio world...they are the new kids on the block though...
