I installed my system and my LOW RCA's seemed to be bottle necked of input signal coming from the pre amps I cant seem to find any setting to change it . Unless I've overlooked somthin which if anyone would care to point out i'd be greatful. I pluged the Rca's to my rear's and everythign works great there. There must be some subwoofer out adjustment on the deck somewhere.

I think the eclipse 8 volts sometimes have a mono sub out instead of stereo. what do you mean by bottlenecked signal?

Well lemme explai nthe situation , when I had the Rca's hooked to the Low output rca's i'd have to turn the gain all the way up on my amp to get close to the output I should be getting . That should not be the case since the rca's even for the sub output should be strong. When I hooked the rca's to my rear channel the subs were hitting decent with the gain all the way off . It seems like the voltage the sub outs are pushing is limited and I'm betting its a settign on the deck.

Hook the subs up to the NON-FADER pre-out.

they were ..... hooked to the non fader pre out its labeled LOW / NON FADER . I tried taking a voltage reading of the rca's and got nothing...

Eclipses are known for having the strongest preouts out there

check to see if you're hu doesnt have faulty preouts

If you check your rca without a test tone playing, there won't be a signal. Your HU doesn't just output 8 volts. Without a constant tone there will be very little output even with the volume and non fader maxed. If you have a used HU, then press the reset button on your face plate. This will ensure that your crossover settings and time alignment is not at fault. Your non fader will not automaticaly have the same voltage as your high and low channels. If you have the subs non fader turned down then the output will be much lower. Ensure that you have it turned up. In the sound settings, there is a sub out option. Check to see if you have mono or stereo selected. If you have mono and your amp is set for stereo plus 2, or stereo bridged, then you aren't getting all the frequencies. It is possible that your HU has bad outputs, but the likely hood is extemely slim. I personaly would bet that resetting your deck will take care of it.
