Eclipse 8445 Foggy display or normal?

I just bought my Eclipse 8445 and installed it today... the display seems nice but a bit foggy... is this normal on the new eclipses?

My 8454 was crystal clear when I had her yesteryear. Even in extreme heat/cold.

i got my 8455 and it's not foggy at all. if you got it from an authorized dealer, take it back. if you bought it off ebay brand new, return it to the ebay seller.

Yes the screen isnt so clear.

There are a couple things I could say about the display, but I don't think foggy is one of them

well but its isnt completely clear by this I mean, that it has a little bit of reflection in the outer shell of the screen plastic... is this normal?

did you play with the contrast?

my 5435 has a contrast setting of -6....0....+6

try it...

Not the actual Unit... now this effects of the display are probably because of the camera, but actually my screen looks just like that except in the second pic it looks better... but as you can see its not crystal clear! Is this normal?

1st pic shows shows a reflection due to the shot angle, but other than that, A-OK.
