IT is an AM FM cd/DVD player iirc it don't play MP3's....except for 5.1 no processors are built in...You can add this to give it EQ and additional processor features....Eclipse 39011 by FUJITSU TEN Digital Sound Processor Brand New in box 5.1 Dolby | eBay still in all a very nice sq unit
