eclipse 5504 and ipod?

I was given a eclipse 5504 HU and i was wondering if i can get a cable to use the aux disc payer to hook up an ipod 1/8 adapter.Will i have any trouble with security on this unit or will i have to send it to the factory.Any help would be appriciated i hear they are awsome.
