The main difference I see is that the 5435 has a remote and you can change illumination

and the 5435 has WMA support

Eclipse's site doesn't seem to have a compare function, but you can just print out both spec sheets or open 2 browser windows (love this 24" LCD monitor)

anyway, looks like 5435 is the best choice for me
