I have an eclipse 3421 deck and recently whenever i hit a bump it turns on TEL MUTE?!!?

i have no idea wat that is. but as soon as i hit another bump it turns off and plays at normal volume!

why could it be doing this?!

just because its old?! or wat?!

and wat is tel mute?!

Is the mute mute wire in the back just hanging. If so when you hit a bump it could be grounding to metal and sending the ground signal to the unit activating the Tel mute function.
