Eclipse 3241 problem

I have on older Eclipse, 4-channel amp that is back from servicing and still has a peculiar problem. The amp runs fine when the ignition is at accessory or is turned forward, but the amp's protection circuitry kicks in when the engine is started and it stops playing. Does anyone have a clue what's going on? thanks........Ryan
