! ebay question ( golf club. Deal or scam ) and 1 .rar windows guestion...

well im on ebay and i was just about to lace an order for a set of golf wedges, and pretty much everywhere i look there the same price $79.99

But i saw this, for the exact same clubs , from the same discount store i believe

brand new starting at $10...

So is there any difference? just cant figure out why they are auctioning off these clubs for so cheap when they have them listed at $79 a few items up on the same page

Next one is , i had my first lessson today for golf and my instructor Sent me my vids, but when i download them or save them , i try to open them with windows media and it say something like " selected file has an extension (.rar) that is not recgonized by windows media "

So just wondering how i can view it..

You have to use a program like WinRAR to "unzip" the .rar files.

the first link is a buy it now and the second is an auction which normally ends at around the buy it now price. sometimes you get a better deal bidding so watch that second link.

thats what i was thinking . Both are brand new, and the exact same club.. Just one is buy it now for $80 and one is a bid that ends tomorrow and is at $10 .. Just seemed weird that they would bid something then sell the exact same thing for full price

Companies do this all the time. Its not a scam, its giving both parties a chance to get a better deal. Another thing I see people doing now, is listing the same item over and over and playing with the BIN price and Shipping price to still make them the same amount. I ALWAYS buy the highest BIN. Sellers trying to save money on ebay fees by overcharging on shipping doesnt work for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif As far as bidding vs BIN, I prefer to just use BIN because when I want something, I want it NAOW!

I bought from them before on ebay and the website has it for sale. It's not a scam and the ending price is usually a little less than the for buy it now. Sometime you can get a lot cheaper if it's your lucky.

What sucks tho is that my paypal has been inactive for a year , and when i went to purchase my irons on BIN , i guess i need another bank confirmation where they send the 2 dollar amounts.. So what happens if i purchased an item that ends bidding on monday and i dont get my bank confirmation til tuesday or something
